"Our family stayed for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. The rooms and facilities were excellent, clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was also great with high quality food of different types from traditional Vietnamese dishes and typical western food. Lunch menu was very reasonable and we had a couple of times in the restaurant. The resort is about 10 minutes walking to downtown but the hotel lend us the bicycle to ride there and it was very pleasant. However the best thing about this place was the hospitality and kindness from all the staffs. Especially, Ms Ly who is the Front Lobby Manager, a wonderful kind person and always attentive to our needs. We had dinner one evening at resort restaurant and was served by Mr Chuong and Chef Henry (Hanh). The restaurant decor and ambience was beautiful. Our family was the only guest there that evening and we were treated like royalty by our “butler” Chuong and personal Chef Henry, we sampled some of the recommended dishes and they were exquisite. The cost of the dinner was reasonable too, considering there were 3 of us and we had bottle of French wine, it all came up to about $100. Over all we had a great time at the resort. "First time in Con dao and we decided to stay in this hotel mainly beach of its vicinity. However, the moment we arrived, we didn’t even want to leave the hotel. Beautiful swimming pool with a magnificent view of the ocean. Breakfast is widespread with a lot of choices from hot and cold dishes. We also rented a bike for 200,000VND for 24hrs. It’s convenient to be able to park just outside the hotel. Everything in the hotel is impeccable and all the employees are also super friendly and amicable. A special thanks to Lucy who always greeted us with a big and beautiful smile. She is adorable, accompanied us and made it feel like home! "We absolutely loved our stay at The Secret. The best thing about the hotel is actually the staff - we worked with Anh who took care of all our needs. For example, we wanted to go to a nice (but not so expensive) seafood restaurant and Anh personally called multiple restaurants to find out which restaurant was open and whether they had a particular type of fish to ensure we had a great meal. She also checked in our us consistently and answered all our questions about where to go, how to get there, etc. On our final day, Anh gave me and my wife heated eye masks so that our flight will be more comfortable - she is so sweet! We had a room with a beach view and we were very happy with it. It was quiet, had very comfortable beds, and the shower had endless hot water and great pressure. The hotel has a really nice pool as well. The only thing I wish is that TV in the room had access to streaming applications like Netflix. We will definitely stay at The Secret again.
